Saosin Cancel Shows to Have Record Out on Time
Saosin's bassist Chris Sorenson announced on MySpace that the band had to cancel shows with The Used during SXSW to finish the new record. California-based post-hardcore band wanted to make sure they could release their new album on Capitol Records by June, as scheduled.

Follow-up to The Decemberists' 2006 "The Crane Wife"
After 2006 success The Crane Wife, The Decemberists from Portland, Oregon will release a new album on March 24, 2009 and will be touring the United States in May and June. The Hazards of Love is the fifth studio album from the indie/folk rock five-piece and the second on Capitol Records. It tells the tale of Margaret and her lover faced to different novel-like situations. The first single off of this new album is "The Rake's Song", followed by "The Hazards of Love 1".It can be pre-ordered at www.decemberistsshop.com
