First Single Off "A Shipwreck in the Sand"

"Vices" is released today, March 17th, 2009, and is the first single off A Shipwreck in the Sand from Burlington, Ontario-based post-hardcore band Silverstein. It features Liam Cormier, ex-Comeback Kid and Cancer Bats singer. The complete album is scheduled to be released on March 31st, 2009 under the label of Victory Records.

Cancer Bats' New Music Video

Toronto-based hardcore punk band Cancer Bats released a new music video for the song "Deathsmarch" from their 2008 album Hail Destroyer released under the Distort Entertainment label.

A New Concept Album for Silverstein

Post-hardcore five-piece band Silverstein from Burlington, Ontario has a busy schedule these days. Besides touring Australia until mid-march and then embarking on a US tour until, at least, May 2009, the band will release a new concept album, the follow-up to Arrivals and Departures launched in 2007. Divided in four chapters, A Shipwreck in the Sand is due for March 31st, 2009 on Victory Records and will feature guest artists such as Liam Cormier from Cancer Bats, Scott Wade, former Comeback Kid singer, and Lights.
