Signed on Dine Alone Records last year, Arkells have been one of Canada's favourite alternative rock artists. The CASBY Award for "Favourite New Artist" they received in October is proof. Jackson Square, their first full-length issued in October 2008, has been acclaimed by critics around the country. "Pullin' Punches" is the third single from the album, out now on Dine Alone. Canadian post-hardcore band Alexisonfire will be shooting a music video for their first single off their upcoming studio album Old Crows / Young Cardinals. The video for "Young Cardinals" will be shot in the Niagara region in Ontario, Canada.
