Music Video: "Hold That Sound" by Moneen

"Hold That Sound" is the first single and music video from Moneen's latest effort titled The World I Want to Leave Behind. The fourth studio album from the Ontarian indie rock band will be available September 15, 2009 on Dine Alone Records (Canada) and Vagrant Records (US). This single was also released last June on the Hold That Sound EP along with three other songs.

Who Is Hunter?

Hunter is a hardcore punk band from Brampton, Ontario. The five-piece is the latest add to the Dine Alone Records roster. No band members have been explicitly revealed, unless you visit and search www.WhoIsHunter.ca! The band features Moneen guitarists and singers Kenny Bridges and Erik Hughes, drummer Jordan Hastings from Alexisonfire, Greg Dawson from BWC Studios and Billy Curtiss from defunct The Abandoned Hearts Club. You can hear two songs and two demos on the supergroup's MySpace page. No tour dates, album release are announced except for a show at Siesta Nouveaux in Toronto, April 29th, 2009.

Edgefest '09 Line-Up Finally Revealed

Toronto radio 102.1 The Edge finally revealed more information about this year's Edgefest held on Saturday June 20, 2009 at Downsview Park in Toronto. 2009 line-up will feature Billy Talent, AFI, Alexisonfire, Metric, K-OS, The Stills, Arkells, Beast, Moneen and much more... Tickets will be on sale February 28 at 10:00AM from Ticket Master.

There's also a pre-sale on February 27 going on from 10:ooAM to 11:59PM.
