Face to Face / Rise Against Split

According to a recent Twitter post from newly reunited Face to Face frontman Trever Keith, the band is in studio "recording a Rise Against cover for a split release." Still no dates or labels have been announced, neither by veteran punk rockers nor Chicago's melodic hardcore band. Rumors are running about Face to Face covering "The Good Left Undone".

Rise Against Signs Back to Fat and Releases New Seven Inch

Melodic hardcore band from Chicago, Illinois Rise Against recently signed back with Fat Wreck Chords. They had released all their albums with NOFX Fat Mike's record label until they signed with Geffen Records for their third full-length, Siren Song of the Counter Culture. Along with this new record contract, the four-piece will release a two-song self-titled seven inch on May 12th, 2009. It will be available for pre-order on Fat Wreck's website May 5th. Both songs are unreleased tracks from their latest full-length entitled Appeal to Reason: "Grammatizator" and "Voice of Dissent".

Rise Against's Shows in Quebec Change Dates

Shows scheduled on June 17th and 18th, 2009 to be held, respectively, in Montréal and Québec City, have been swapped. Rise Against, Rancid and the Riverboat Gamblers will play in Québec City June 17th and in Montréal June 18th.
